Cazadero Trail
The Cazadero Trail is a multi-use trail in the U.S. state of Oregon in a rural area of southeastern Portland.[1]
The 5.8-mile (9.3 km)[clarification needed][2] route connects Boring to historic Cazadero, two miles upriver from Estacada, following the long abandoned rail line of Oregon Water Power and Railway Company. The trail extends the Springwater Corridor from downtown Portland to Barton, a 4-mile (6.4 km) extension.
The trail goes along a section of Deep Creek in Deep Canyon. There are jays, robins, and northern flicker, and an occasional red tailed hawk or turkey vulture soaring.[3]
Plans eventually include extending the trail to the Pacific Crest Trail.[1]

The Cazadero Trail runs from Boring south to Barton. Someday, it could extend beyond Barton through Eagle Creek, Estacada and the Faraday, Cazadero and Promontory Park areas on up the Clackamas River corridor, eventually connecting to Mount Hood and the Pacific Crest Trail.

Cazadero Trail is a 5.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Boring, Oregon that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from February until November. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
