Coloring art[edit]

What does "coloring" art mean? I don't think this is what art critics do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.126.3.13 (talk) 2007-02-14T11:35:50

The list[edit]

It's already too long..The key word is Famous art critics; not just a list of art critics..Maybe a list of art critics can be created as a separate linked article, but not here...Red ink names do not belong until there are articles about those particular critics...Modernist (talk) 18:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure about this[edit]

It says "often because their art was in a style not yet understood or favored.". I think that could be worded better. The work in that case was understood as having no significance at the time.SunRiddled (talk) 12:02, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Differences in distribution[edit]

Should it be mentioned that art critics in the past relied on print publications whereas today notable critics, such as Jerry Saltz, are doing more work online than in traditional print?SunRiddled (talk) 14:08, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
