Births and deaths[edit]

As with other dates, I have been removing entries for people who have few or no articles in other language wikipedias and thus not internationally well known. This makes the section more manageable. Where possible, those that have been removed have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. See Days of Year Project talk pages, where discussion is taking place as to how best to separate births and deaths sections from these articles. Deb (talk) 18:45, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pratulin martyrs[edit]

The wiki article linked to says they are venerated by the "Catholic Church, Eastern Catholic Churches". Is there a reason here to limit it to "Greek Catholic Church"? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 20:58, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to add a period at the end of these sentences: "The Gregorian calendar is introduced in Russia by decree of the Council of People's Commissars effective February 14(NS)" and "Notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, with over 30 known victims, is executed by the electric chair at the Florida State Prison" 98.210.124.96 (talk) 21:43, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Under Events, the entries "During the Seven Years' War the leading burghers of Königsberg submit to Elizabeth of Russia, thus forming Russian Prussia (until 1763)" and "Vietnam War: The 1st Australian Task Force launches Operation Coburg against the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong during wider fighting around Long Bình and Biên Hòa" are each missing a period at the end. 98.210.124.96 (talk) 01:25, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Saturday of Souls"[edit]

There is nothing about "57 days" in the article on Saturday of Souls - that is original research. It is the Saturday before Meatfare Sunday. --2607:FEA8:FF01:4A86:71DC:BB8B:1121:AA64 (talk) 23:55, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, removed. Deb (talk) 08:35, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Births, 1901-present" I would like to add "1944 - Klaus Nomi, German singer (d. 1983)". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:801:180:7380:4DC3:2D7B:5CAC:1F62 (talk) 22:49, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As per WP:DOYCITE, you need to provide a reliable source, then the entry can be added. Kiwipete (talk) 07:21, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

eraser Undone I've reverted this entry. There needs to be an inline citation as per WP:DOYCITE. Kiwipete (talk) 18:30, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
