Not Tartan Day![edit]

Tartan Day does not belong here I would say as it is a North American and Australian rather than a Scottish celebration. Guinnog 10:08, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly, but Tartan day celebrates links between Scotland and Scottish descendants overseas. Seems like a Scottish topic to me, but I do see your point. --AntzUK 16:34, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I propose deleting the mention of Tartan Day from here as it is only very loosely related to Scotland; basically it is not celebrated here. It looks very wrong to me. Guinnog 14:38, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While Tartan Day may be a part of the culture of the Scottish diaspora, and thereby Scottish culture as well, it is not a Topic on Scotland. Thus, should be excluded from this template. File:Icons-flag-scotland.png Canæn File:Icons-flag-scotland.png 22:06, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Music[edit]

Anyone object if I stick Music into Culture? --Craig Stuntz 17:59, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Garishness[edit]

This template was far too garish, so I have modified it to something much more subtle whilst retaining the Scottish flavour about it. --Bob 23:45, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clans?[edit]

I'm going to add Scottish clan to this template, I'm thinking to the Culture section. Feel free to correct me, though. File:Icons-flag-scotland.png Canæn File:Icons-flag-scotland.png 22:07, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Youth Parliament[edit]

Requesting the Scottish youth parliament be added to the template.

The article is still to be completed.

Languages[edit]

Can Doric be classed as a language, and if so should it be added here? Dunarc (talk) 18:50, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
