The Civility Barnstar[edit]

Thank you for posting the unexpected -- but welcome -- "The Civility Barnstar" on my talk page. I appreciate the thought and appreciate even more your kind words that accompany it. I think civility and politeness should be the standards for exchanges on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, some editors are quick to take offense (and give offense). I am a retired educator, which probably explains the "genuine interest of community education" that you mentioned.
