- @Ruthgrace: Don't sweat this too much. Your user page is clearly not in violation of U5. You have plenty of edits other than to your user page, and it's far from unusual for a person to link to their personal interests or creative work from the user page (tho officially it's an iffy area). This is just bullying from a bad-faith editor: Graywalls is an anti-homeless zealot who spends a bizarre amount of energy going after homeless organisations on Wikipedia. (Check out their edit history.) They are coming after you solely because your page says you are interning at the Coalition on Homelessness. That said, given that you're at the COH and that you're editing pages related to homelessness, you run the risk of violating the conflict of interest policy. You should really check out WP:COI before making any further edits on homelessness-related issues. Take care! I hope that most of your interactions on Wikipedia are more pleasant than this one. - My internship with the CoH is unpaid
- I'm not editing about CoH, I'm editing about Homelessness. I would hope that being involved in the field wouldn't disallow someone to edit Wikipedia, as most subject matter experts would be involved in the field.

- Hi @Pathawi:, really appreciate the reassurance. I took a look at the WP:COI, and I wanted to note for the record:
@Pathawi:, perhaps you should disclose your relationship with the organization that is in question here. A user page isn't intended to be like a resume with primary intentions of showcasing non-wikipedia related activities. Secondly, When one is affiliated with an organization and their edits consist of sourcing things that is closely related to the organization which they're affiliated with, that is a concern. - Your long-standing pattern of behaviour in interactions with users you even think have relationships with homeless organisations certainly falls under WP:HOUND. Tons of users have links to personal writings on their User pages. But you're going after this user for a reason, which has nothing to do with your concern for the purity of user pages. You've sought at least twice to have the user page deleted with no consideration of WP:NOBAN or WP:DELETEOTHER on absolutely bollocks grounds. Glass houses, friend. - Actually I address promotionalism issues on different groups/companies. Notable example was Anti-Defamation League. When I see such a pattern, I certainly look at the user's page. - Hi Graywalls, thank you for your note. I don't consider myself affiliated with WRAP, however I appreciate that their reports are self published, and maybe not the best thing to cite. Did You Know - Cornwall Electric[edit]
Ruthgrace, I wanted to let you know (no pun intended) that Cornwall Electric is scheduled to appear in the Did You Know section of Wikipedia's Main Page on January 5th at 12:00 UTC. The hook for Did You Know... that during the January 1998 North American ice storm, an employee at Cornwall Electric used a bow and arrow to provide power to a city?
was inspired by the closing comments you made during the article's GAR... about the employee saving the day with his bow and arrow. It's actually incredible and hard to believe that 24 years have already come to pass since that event!

Actually the power did go out due to high winds during my trip, but it was only for a few hours -- very impressive considering the number of trees that fell down.
